Visit to Lourdes Grotto, Oblate Fathers, Inchicore in honour of the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes 11th Feb. This Grotto, a replica of the Grotto at Lourdes, was completed in 1930 mainly by voluntary labour for the people of Ireland who could not afford to travel to France. Many thousands attended the opening ceremony. In honour of this great Feast, there will be a Lourdes Mass at 7pm followed by a torchlight procession. Fare €10. Between two and three thousand volunteers will be needed during the week of the Congress and also to assist in preparations in the months before the Congress. The Congress is recruiting volunteers for administration, data entry, stewards, marketing, transport, meet & greet multimedia, pastoral preparation and much more! We need 10 people per parish.

INTERNATIONAL EUCHARISTIC CONGRESS 2012: Jun 10-17th.
Eucharist: communion with Christ and with One Another.

Its aims are
1. To promote an awareness of the central place of the Eucharist in the life and mission of the Catholic Church.
2. To help improve our understanding and celebration of the liturgy
3. To draw attention to the social dimension of the Eucharist
The principal venue will be the R.D.S. with the closing ceremony being held in Croke Park. It will be a week-long programme of events gathering people of every nation, language and way of life. To register for the congress online Ph 01-298-1122 for details. www.iec2012.ie.

VOLUNTEERS - THE 50TH INTERNATIONAL EUCHARISTIC CONGRESS 2012 (IEC2012) will take place in Dublin from 10th to 17th June 2012.
Between two and three thousand volunteers will be needed during the week of the Congress and also to assist in preparations in the months before the Congress.
The Congress is now recruiting volunteers for administration, data entry, stewards, marketing, transport, meet & greet, multimedia, pastoral preparation and much more!
We need 10 people per parish.
